The Role

Their SCADA and Telemetry system enables them to remotely monitor and control a variety of assets essential for the safe and uninterrupted supply of potable water. Forming part of the UKs Critical National Infrastructure, its operability, resilience and dependency is of significant strategic importance and is key to the organisations day to day operations.

Following a structured training and mentoring plan designed to build on your academic achievements to-date, you will quickly find yourself as the go-to person for the development, operation and maintenance of the organisations SCADA systems and telemetry networks.

You will also support the commissioning of new works, help deliver system changes, be instrumental in the development of future communication and SCADA solutions and ensure the governance of operational data and information standards is adhered to.

Qualifications:

A good degree in telecommunications, electronics, computer engineering or similar

Have a desire to work in a technically challenging environment

Good engineering skills and knowledge of Operational Technology

Excellent IT skills with knowledge of IT systems, IP network design, cyber security and information management.

Excellent communication skills
