Software Development Coordinator

Due to expansion our client is looking to recruit key members of their Service Delivery team. Working within a team of technology specialists your role will allow you to engage with clients (both internal and external) and use your knowledge in Tech to help implement client projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

– Technically focused “go to” person executing Mobile Operator activations/integrations.
– Review third party Web API documentation and use this to configure new payment integrations using an in-house Integrations Tool.
– Testing of new integrations.
– Produce technical documentation.
– Devise product requirements to enhance standard tools.
– Understand and be able to explain billing system capabilities and requirements to customers/internal stakeholders.
– Provide regular status reporting.
– Continually identify ways to streamline and improve the integrations process to increase the efficiency.
– Engage with payment providers to troubleshoot during the integrations process.

Essential requirements:

– Passion, energy, and enthusiasm.
– Understanding of Web APIs and Web Services and interest in software development languages & scripting.
– Ability to interpret detailed technical documentation and translate this in an easy to understand design.
– High degree of diligence and professionalism with excellent attention to detail.
– Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask with a high level of numeracy, literacy skills.
– Customer focused with excellent communication skills to non-native English speakers.
– The ability to work in a targeted and fast paced environment.
– A thirst for learning and continued professional technical development.
– Tolerance & willingness for occasional global travel.

Desirable:

– Understanding of charging APIs and flows.
– Experience using Jira and a working exposure to Kanban/Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
– Versatile skill-set that includes problem solving, programming, and troubleshooting skills.
– Experience with automated configuration management.
– Experience with programming and scripting.
