CNC Turner

Our client, a precision engineering company, seek to appoint an experienced CNC Turner to programme set and operate a number of machines in their well equipped factory. The appointed CNC Turner will have experience in programming Fanuc controls. On offer is a competitive hourly rate with a great business known for treating their staff well.

CNC Turner – Role and Responsibilities – Turning / Machining / Fanuc / Precision Engineering

* Programming, setting and operating precision engineering machinery
* Programming, setting and operating with Fanuc controls
* Overcome any tooling and set up problems encountered when machining component
* Adhere to Machine / Department 5S and support Quality / Business Improvement initiatives

CNC Turner Skills and abilities – Turning / Fanuc / Machining / Precision Engineering

*Formal qualification in machining, with CNC bias, ideally apprentice trained
*Ability to program preferred
*Ability to use associated measuring equipment, mics, verniers etc
*Confident with a positive and friendly attitude
*Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
